Feria de la Capirotada

Ajijic celebrated the Capirotada Fair on March 16th. Visitors from all over come to the town to delight themselves with a great variety of capirotadas, prepared by local chefs and home cooks.

Capirotada is a sweet dessert made during Lent. It was made with birote bread, sugar, raisins, cinnamon, cheese and many secret ingredients.

Ajijic celebro el 16 de marzo La Feria de la Capirotada. Visitantes de todas partes acuden al pueblo para deleitarse con una gran variedad de capirotadas, preparadas por chefs locales y cocineros caseros.

La capirotada es un postre dulce elaborado durante la cuaresma. Se elaboraba con pan birote, azúcar, pasas, canela, queso y muchos ingredientes secretos.
